What our member charities are saying about us

Erskine’s strength lies in the very special blend of dedicated care, compassion and understanding we offer to residents and their families. Erskine supports nearly 1,000 Veterans each year; our homes provide Veterans with the companionship of like-minded people. Erskine not only care for our Veterans – we care about them.
Gifts in Wills make up 50% of Erskine’s voluntary income, and quite simply we would be a different charity without them. By collaborating with The National Free Wills Network, we are able to offer our supporters the opportunity to write a Will for free, with a solicitor of their choosing, and keeping their autonomy over where their gift goes. We are very grateful to the NFWN and the partner solicitors who make this process so easy for everyone to use!"

We have had many new pledged gifts which we may not have otherwise received through being members of the service, and these gifts are all hugely appreciated and valued."

Demand for our care is only going to grow in the future. In fact, 55% more people are set to need end-of-life life care by 2030 than today.
That’s why gifts in Wills are so important. 1 in 6 of the people cared for by our palliative services is funded through the kindness of people who have included a gift in their Will in the past. And gifts left to us now are vital in ensuring that we can help future generations of people who will need end-of-life care and grief support, now and in the future.
