The National Free Wills Network comprises charities ranging from household names to those with a strong regional or local focus. The purpose of the Network is to offer free Will-writing services to the charities' known supporters.

The National Free Wills Network is a paid for Wills scheme whereby the charities pay for the Wills to be written. The Network’s operation is straight forward;

•The charities maintain sole responsibility and control for marketing the Network to their donor database

•The charities refer interested supporters to the Network office who then provide them with a Network pack detailing their local participating solicitors

•The solicitors are able to control the overall number of Wills they write for the Network

•The Network conforms to relevant regulations of The Law Society of England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland as well as the Charity Commission and the Institute of Fundraising
